Support That Understands Your Journey

At Lawall Prosthetic & Orthotic Services, we recognize that the path to recovery after limb loss involves more than just physical healing—it requires emotional and psychological support as well. That’s why we strongly encourage new amputees and their families to take advantage of peer support resources available through trusted organizations like the Amputee Coalition.

The Amputee Coalition’s Certified Peer Support Leaders are individuals who have personally experienced limb loss or limb difference and have undergone training to provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support. Whether you’re adjusting to a new way of life or supporting a loved one through it, connecting with someone who truly understands can make a profound difference.

In addition to these valuable peer networks, Lawall offers access to mental health professionals for those who may benefit from a deeper level of emotional support. One such expert is Brittany, MA, NCC, LPC—a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with extensive experience in trauma, life transitions, and disability advocacy.

Brittany holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Forensic Psychology and is certified in leadership development. She also serves as a life coach, public speaker, and dedicated mental health therapist. As a bilateral amputee and founder of Blythe Wellness. She is uniquely positioned to support individuals living with limb loss.

If you or someone you care about is seeking support, we can help connect you with peer mentors through the Amputee Coalition or arrange a meeting with specialists like Brittany through our network. Contact your nearest Lawall office to learn more.
